I believe I had 4 Broad-billed Flycatchers this morning in Pumicestone Passage on the Sunshine Coast, seen from my kayak in mangroves. See here for pictures and details: http://sunshinecoastbirds.blogspot.com/ This would be the first record for southeast Queensland and a substantial extension of range for this species. Any comments on identification of the birds are welcome. Also about the passage were Shining Flycatcher at no fewer that sites, Black Bittern, and on the mainland, Baillon's Crake.
