While this discussion is going, what is everyone's opinion of the Morepork, which supposedly occurs in both NZ and Tasmania, whereas a separate species (the normal Southern Boobook) occurs only on mainland Australia??? Are there any scientific reports to back this up or is it a wild assumption? I would assume to be included in IOC there would be a report somewhere...Josh =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
