Hello all, No sign of the Hoopoe until just after midday today. It's been on the grass and in the trees surrounding the roadhouse all afternoon. I got much better views today as well as a few nice photos. For those interested it's the northern migratory race (saturatus), with a bold white bar below the black crest tip. If you come looking for it, it likes to sit in the trees on the northern side of the roadhouse and was seen once at the back, usually within 30m of the carpark.
