Shining Bronze-cuckoo (1), White-winged Triller (1), Crested Shrike-tit (2), Diamond Firetail (21)
Altona Landcare Reserve
One Shining Bronze-cuckoo heard and then seen in middle of reserve, many Horsfield's Bronze-cuckoos in reserve as well. First White-winged Triller (male) for the season in the Barossa that I have seen. The Crested Shrike-tits were in their usual area in the middle of the reserve as well, calling a lot! Also a large flock of Diamond Firetails are frequenting the new growth coming up after last years fire in the paddock just on the left of the blue track.
