Tonight on dusk I heard the familiar sound of a flock of White-browed
Woodswallows and noticed approximately 50-100 birds initially soaring then
flying directly to their probable roost site near Lake Samsonvale, high
above them I managed to pick out around ten White-throated Needletails (but
there could have been more) The swifts are our first for the season.
