Good evening everyone

                                             Last weekend was spent at
Chiltern State Forest looking for Turquoise Parrots nesting but alas to no
avail, Highlights were Painted Button-quail, Mistletoebird, and a beautiful
Male Rufous Whistler. We also saw a pair of Speckled Warblers nesting in the
grass and I would never have picked it up except for Peter Merritt's
wonderful knowledge of this species, also we heard a Black-eared Cuckoo but
try as we might, we never had even a glimpse. It was also nice to see quite
a few birders out and about around Greenhill Dam on both days, so if you see
a bloke with a huge lens walking around say hello I promise I won't bite!
Anyway here is my usual link
