Hi all, Bill here Peter Shute and I spent a very productive weekend up at Chiltern - being excellently guided by Michael Ramsey. Saw a pile of birds, five new ones for me, but this one caught my eye. We were watching some Grey Crowned Babblers on Up River Road Gooramadda when a pair of Shelduck flew over. I took a photo, as, well, I was there, and only now while going over it I notice there was something around the duck's neck. I've put it onto Flickr at http://www.flickr.com/photos/skogpingvin/6071757859. Does anyone have any theories? One possibility is that it's a piece of rubbish like a plastic ring pull, but there's also the possibility it's a GPS tracker or something. =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
