Hi all,

For the second time this year I've been lucky enough to see a Swift Parrot
in Queensland. On my way home from birding Durakai State Forest and the
Coolmunda Dam area, we stopped at the rest stop on the way up the range and
heard and saw a single Swift Parrot fly over. I think it may have been
perched just outside the rest area prior to this, as I heard the calls well
before we saw the bird fly over.

More information: http://birdo.wildiaries.com/trips/10700

We also had a single Musk Lorikeet in the rest area, and a pair of Glossy
Black Cockatoos on our way down the coastal side of the range. Full trip
report will happen once I've downloaded photos from the day.

Cheers,
Chris Sanderson
