On 10 and 11 September are the final OBP counts in Victoria for the year, including several locations around Melbourne such as WTP. I'd say your chances of seeing one are small around Melbourne, but if you were to participate in a survey at least you could be sure you're looking in the right spots, not to mention assisting in their survival.
