Further to Dave Torr's initial report, the Northern Shoveler was on Lake
Borie off Paradise Road this morning (8 AM). Seemed to be sticking close to
a female shoveler. I'm not game to pronounce on which species the female is!
They were actively feeding amongst a loose group of other shovelers and
PEDs. The latter were fairly flighty but the Northern Shoveler seemed pretty
settled.

Hi All,

The national capital for Northern Shoveler is again hosting a male.
Found by Dave Torr and others on Lake Borrie yesterday.
Note that access is by permit.
