Bundaberg birding legend Eric Zillmann is the only person alive to have seen the Paradise Parrot. His last sighting, in 1938, is regarded as the last authentic record of this beautiful species, the only bird known to have become extinct on the Australian mainland. Here is his story: http://sunshinecoastbirds.blogspot.com/2011/07/paradise-parrot-and-eric-zill man.html?spref=fb =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
