Sun 24 Jul White-winged Chough Granitvale 10' Cell
White-winged Chough (7) in a house garden on the east side of Granitvale Road, along with (26) Bush Stone-Curlew.

Sat 23 Jul Wompoo Fruit-Dove West End, Townsville (garden)
Wompoo spent the afternoon sitting in a tree in the backyard.

Wed 20 Jul Red Goshawk Clump Mountain, mission beach
nesting confirmed, Nth Mission Beach after an absence in 2010.

Tue 19 Jul Great-billed Heron Cairns - Centenary Lakes
A single cryptic bird spotted along the saltwater river within the Centenary Lakes precinct. A very surprising suburban find.

Kelp Gull Townsville Breakwater
Imature bird sited at 8.35am. Rare visitor to this part of the coast - possible last sighting in 2005. Poor quality ID photo attached.
