Area: SA

Date: Tuesday, June 28, 2011

Location: Coorong, Loop Rd, 4km sth Salt Crk

Hooded Plover (Thinornis rubricollis) (23) One of these was an immature bird. 
They were feeding along the edge of a lake on the left of the Loop Rd, about 
400m before the Malleefowl mound and number 3 campsite.
On returning 30mins later only five birds were present.

Date: Wednesday, June 29, 2011

Location: Next to bike trail between West Beach Caravan Park and Sand dunes of 
coast. Extreme southern end of park where trail heads into the boat ramp area 
at West Beach

Buff-banded Rail (Gallirallus philippensis) (1) A single bird walking across 
trail then observed for some time in undergrowth in sand dune.

Restless Flycatcher (Myiagra inquieta) (1) Adult (male?) showing area of rich, 
warm buff on breast.

Location: Greenhill Road, 0.5 km west of Balhannah.

Long-billed Corella (Cacatua tenuirostris) (66) A flock of 66 Long-billed and 2 
little Corella in dead trees 0.5 km west of Balhannah.

Location: Browns Road, Monarto

Restless Flycatcher (Myiagra inquieta) (3) One pair near the loop track close 
to the entrance, and at least one other bird near the tank.

Diamond Firetail (Stagonopleura guttata) (3) Also near the loop track close to 
the entrance.
