Hi Friends,

I have a voucher for a Qantas flight from Alice Springs that has to be used
before August 10. I have decided to fly to Alice on Thurs 28 July, returning
on Wed 3 August. I am planning to hire a Britz 4WD drive camper based on a
Toyota Troop Carrier. I plan to drive to the vicinity of Jupiter Well to
look for the Princess Parrot. I have learned, by the way, that they have
disappeared from the Eastern parts of the desert accessed trhough the
Mereenie Loop Road, where they were being seen last year. The van has bunks
for 2, and if anyone would like to join me and share the coast of the van,
diesel etc, could you reply privately to me as soon as possible. I am
leaving for a boat cruise up the far eastern Siberian coast next Thursday
(23 June) and will not be back until July 14.
