A question for list members.
I'm about to make comments on a draft management plan for King Quail
(threatened species) in Victoria and the author has asked me whether I
knew what the lifespan of King Quail might be in the wild.
There doesn't appear to be any published information on this but my
feeling is that they might live for around 4 years.
Anyone's thoughts (and possible references) are most welcome. Please
contact me directly.
