Perhaps the easiest way to obtain a picture of a BBBQ is to ask around
the avicultural community (especially Quail specialists). It seems
that there are some in captivity across the country. There are keeping
notes on the net http://birdcare.com.au/
buff_breasted_button_quail.htm and they are on NSW NPWS list of bird
species that may be kept in the state.
Much easier than stomping around in all that tropical heat and humidity looking for them :-) Cheers, Carl Clifford =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
