I'm afraid this is another grisly photo album. This time, from last weekend's 
duck rescue at Lake Buloke, Victoria.
Two Black Swans have been shot, with x-rays confirming more than 30 shotgun 
pellets in one.
Swan nests have been found trampled and strewn with empty shotgun cartridges. 
Rescuers believe they were used as shooting platforms.
Three (dead) cygnets were found, one tied up and hung from a tree.

Happily, several injured ducks were taken to local vets.
