I had a bit of time to spare yesterday so I sat down to write something I've 
been meaning to for a couple of weeks now. Black Swans have featured in the 
media three times since then ... and the history of Black Swan references in 
culture goes back to the first century AD!

Don't forget to follow Bird-O on Facebook / Twitter. We'll keep posting on 
Birding-aus as long as we can but the bulk of content still goes out through 
the social networks. 
There are articles coming up on raptor migration in the US and Hummingbirds, as 
well as a video piece on the Port Fairy pelagics. There's also Mark Carter's 
hilarious piece on sewage farms in Alice.
