Not great timing either. 

For those that may not have heard, Don Merton, one of the greats of 
international bird conservation and deeply involved in the recovery program for 
Kakapo unfortunately passed away over the weekend after a brief illness. He 
perhaps was most famous for his association with Black Robin and developing 
techniques of cross fostering. Gone too soon. Commiserations to all his family 
and friends.
