Hi,

For those who might be interested in arts, dance, music and birds, there's an
amazing evening planned next Tuesday at the Australian Museum in Sydney. Please
let me know if you plan to go as we'd love to hear from you, especially if
you'd like to review the night. http://bird-o.com/2011/04/05/birds-of-a-fashion/

On a lighter note, check out this year's "World Series of Birding" competitors
(thanks Simon Clayton): http://bird-o.com/2011/04/04/extreme-birding/

If you haven't read about the seminal 'Ghosts of Gone Birds' exhibition,
supporting BirdLife International's Prevention of Extinction program, you can
read this from the Bird-O front page, along with a pod cast with film-maker
Ceri Levy.

Finally, there is a short piece about the unprecedented influx of Great
Shearwaters. Climate change or just La Nina? Either way, this is a global
phenomenon. Maybe you'd like to have your say on what you think is happening.

All this and more ... don't forget to sign up to the mailing list and follow us
on Twitter for more exciting news about birds and events in Australia.

Regards,

Simon.
