I had a pair of Shining Flycatchers this morning along the Maroochy River on the Sunshine Coast, close to where I had two females of this species recently. This is my third sighting locally of Shining Flycatchers, which reach their southern distributional limit in southeast Queensland. Also of interest today were good numbers of Plumed and Wandering Whistling-Ducks together at a small wetland.
