Dear all After much scrutiny and backings and forwardings, it was agreed the immature Tropicbird picked up in Stratford on 22 March, and sent from Gloucester to Port Macquarie, is a Red-tailed, not a White-tailed. Its weight and the black bill were what got us all wondering, and then referral to HABZAB confirmed it as red. Sorry for the mis-information. If anyone wishes to see a photograph, email me direct and I'll email back. =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
