The Scenic Rim branch of the Wildlife Preservation Society is holding a couple 
of workshops relevant to birds in the next couple of months:

Saturday April 2nd: wildlife corridors (seed-dispersing birds and understorey 
birds are two of the groups we'll discuss) - Heritage Centre, Tamborine Mountain

Saturday May 7th: seeking rare and cryptic fauna (includes speakers on 
bristlebirds, glossy black cockatoos  and other rare and/or obscure birds)
