Debbie,

The Herald Sun is running a poll asking if duck hunting should be banned.

As usual the hunters have rallied and are currently leading the poll with a 'no' vote.

Please click on the below link and vote YES to ban duck shooting,

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/duck-protester-shot/story- e6frf7jo-1226024497084

Please also pass this email on to anybody who would also like to see duck hunting banned.

Thanks also to all those who attended what was a challenging opening weekend, all the press coverage we received was overwhelming positive. Channel 10 referred to 'A violent opening to the 2011 duck season" while a lot of coverage questioned the sanity of giving a 14 year old a gun. The herald sun article lined to above is a good example of sympathy running out for the shooters.

For those of you concerned Julia is recovering well in hospital, we will keep you updated on her progress.
