Adult Blue-faced Honeyeaters never lose their blue faces once they acquire
them. I had a bird in
the hand on the species published in the journal Corella some years back in
which I describe and
illustrate the colour changes. If anyone is interested in looking it up I can
provide the reference
when I return home on Tuesday night. Contact me off-list if interested.
