I have lived here for 12 years and often heard a raven calling like a sheep but never followed up to see if it is the australian raven or little raven. On two occassions recently saw little raven giving it s raven like call with wing flicking followed by sheep call without wing flicking. Also at top of golf course at base of Mt Maria saw a number of diamond firetails including immatures, so all of this rain that we have been having has paid off! Diamond firetails are a rare bird here. Pleasing also to see a number of southern whitefaces in same location, also a bird which has declined in the area.
