I would take anything the Daily Fail reports on wildlife with enough salt to rid a medium-sized country of slugs. Have a look at this awful, awful article: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1103853/The-birdwatcher-travelled-Norway-spot-rare-bird--Cornwall-garden.html Despite half of Birdforum writing in to tell them how wrong they had got almost everything in that article, it was never corrected. A dozen other newspapers around the world picked it up and ran with it and on the Torygraph ever bothered to correct it. It even ended up in Private Eye in their "How news works" section. I also once ate a $3.00 chocolate bar from the vending machine at work in under thirty seconds, which means that the Princess Parrot trip must have been a bargain, going on the£5/10 minute rate quoted earlier...
