Hi Glenn Nice for you to have some good numbers of Star Finches. The juv in the photo is of a juv Chestnut-breasted Mannikin - legs are too dark, lores are are dark, tail is too short & brown to be a Star. A juv Star would show pale yelow-flesh coloured legs & feet, whitish lores, longer tail with some pink/reddish tones on upperside.
