Listening on ABC radio this morning it was great to hear that Bob Irwin ( father of Steve) has launched Mission Cassowary - immediate project to help the birds of the Mission Beach/Tully areas who's habitat has been severely decimated - looking to provide feeding stations for the birds and other measures - any one who's been to this area and seen these great birds will Im sure agree that this is a great initiative and will hopefully help protect the birds which will be particularly vulnerable at the moment. More details at Bobs website http://www.bobirwinwildlife.com/ Onya Bob! regards David Taylor =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
