Alice Springs, northern end of Head Street
At 6.10 am in the Lemon-scented Gums along the road in front of Braitling School/School of the Air.
6 birds in total. 2 birds started on the power pole across the road and flew to join the others in the trees.

Tennant Creek Sewage Ponds
23 Oriental Pratincoles and a curious looking wader. I call it a Ruff too but it looked not much bigger than the Wood Sandpipers nearby. The heat must've been getting to me!
