Just received an email regarding a new documentary called "Out of the Ashes"
which will be showing on ABC1 at 7.30pm on Feb 13th which might be of interest
to birding-aus'ers.

Synopsis:, The devastation of the Victorian bushfires in February 2009 made
headlines around the world. Not only where the paths of many human lives to be
changed forever, so to was this natural wilderness and it’s wildlife
inhabitants. Burned to a blackened and silent wasteland, over the following 12
months using strategically located satellite controlled time lapse cameras, we
will document an amazing struggle as nature embarks on the regeneration of one
of the earths most unique environments.
