Dear all,

Saw a thread expressing some concern re Bill and Eileen at Abberton. This is
their son, Owen - I'm happy to tell you that they are alive and well, and
sheltering at a friend's house in Helidon.

The property was inundated on Monday, but the house is still standing. Due
to the phone lines being congested I've had only limited contact with them
so I don't have much more information. It will be uninhabitable for a while,
and it will be some time before it's 'business as usual' from the Jollys.

I can't reply directly to the other thread until my membership is cleared -
hopefully this message will get through in the meantime. Thanks for your
concern. I'm afraid I don't have any info about other people in the valley,
if I find anything out I'll post it.

Owen
