Hi All,Mike Carter, Tony Palliser and Frank OConnor report 5-6 Yellow Bitterns, Malayan Night Heron, Red-collared Dove and the recently reported Oriental Reed Warbler on Christmas island today and yesterday. On Cocos I think the only additional bird that was mentioned was a Pond Heron - species indeterminate at present but possibly something interesting! Mike tells me that in the space of a little over a week he has seen 10 new birds for his Australian list - fortunately he returns to Melbourne soon :) Cheers, Rohan -- Rohan Clarke www.wildlifeimages.com.au Latest updates http://www.pbase.com/wildlifeimages/root&view=recent ===============================To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
