Hi allOne of the things I love about birding is that is the hobby you can't leave behind. For example, just after leaving Bunnings Belrose yesterday (2 Jan) at about 4pm after buying some new pavers, I saw a large dark bird with the wings held in a deep vee circling over Belrose tip, but drifting towards me. Pulling over on Narabang Way (heading west, back towards Mona Vale Rd) I used my very ropy set of "car bins" to check out a very dark Wedge Tailed Eagle, which kept heading north. Not a bad "random" bird when I was supposed to be shopping! Not sure how many are seen on the edge of the northern beaches?
