Regarding the Hodgson's Hawk Cuckoo, here is what the Oriental Bird Club website has to say about it:Hodgson’s Hawk-Cuckoo Cuculus (Hierococcyx) fugax is split into four species: Hodgson’s Hawk-Cuckoo Cuculus nisicolor, Northern Hawk-Cuckoo Cuculus hyperythrus, Philippine Hawk-CuckooCuculus pectoralis and Malaysian Hawk-Cuckoo Cuculus fugax. King, Ben F. 2002. TheHierococcyx fugax, Hodgson’s Hawk Cuckoo, complex. Bull. B. O. C. 122 (1): 74-80. Be interesting to see which taxon fits here, and even more interesting to see what the Checklist people do with it, probably taking the usual conservative taxonomic line I imagine.
