Subject: | Hybridisation - Long-billed Corella / Little Corella??? |

I haven't heard of hybrids in aviculture between Eastern Long-bill and
Little Corellas - so if they occur it is very rare. That is perhaps a
bit surprising since both Eastern Long-bills and Little Corellas are
known to have hybridised in captivity with Sulphur-crested, Galahs, and
Major Mitchells.
In answer to another query - Western Long-bills are in aviculture on the East Coast - not in large numbers, but still quite a few around. cheers, Mike Sunshine Coast ===============================To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
