Hi All, Had a couple of queries regarding the various races of Striated Pardalotes which I'm hoping someone can help me with please. (a) Do the various races interbreed where they come into contact with one another, or are they all sufficiently geographically separate, only coming into contact outside the breeding season. (b) Also, reading the Field Guide to Tasmanian Birds by Dave Watts, he mentions that the race striatus, migrate to the mainland for the winter. Do they all migrate leaving Tassie minus Pardalotes for the winter? Thanks, Happy New Year and Happy Birding to all.
