I spent my Christmas at Tin Can Bay, on the coast north of Brisbane, off Gympie. I popped down to nearby Rainbow Beach mid-morning on the 27th for a swim with my little boy and was somewhat surprised to see a Lesser Frigatebird soaring over the foreshore. No doubt blown in by storms - the first one I've seen in ages, not sure how uncommon it is for the area though. =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
