I want to remind everybody that all sick or injured wildlife at the WTP should
be reported: 9742 9208. This emergency number is printed on access permits.
A distressed bird is a suffering bird, regardless of species.
It may not be too late to perform a rescue - if safe to do so - and taking the
precaution of using a towel or blanket to handle the animal. You must, of
course, transport it yourself to the closest vet as well. Werribee's Western
Animal Emergency Centre is at 250 Princes Highway, Werribee. Tel: 9731 2232.
