Dear all, There are some images of Blacktip Reef Sharks taking Tern chicks from a bit further north of the site in recent discussion. You can see the pics at SeaPics here: http://seapics.com/cgi-bin/Panorama.cgi?searchLynx~cgiDispatch~?seapics The note accompanying the images says: "*Blackfin or blacktip reef shark, Carcharhinus melanopterus, seizes a chick of greater crested tern or swift tern, Thalasseus bergii or Sterna bergii, that has been washed out into the sea as the rising tide threatens to engulf the eroding remains of Turu Cay, Torres Strait, Queensland, Australia*" I have submitted some questions to those involved in the previous discussion but received no response as yet.
