Considering a 5 day trip to Darwin over Christmas week. Looks like the wet
is on for young and old so it may be not very practical to travel. Up to
date advice would be appreciated especially:

1) Access to Leanyer Sewage Treatment plant
2) Access to Fogg Dam
3) Car security at both places, Buffalo Creek and elsewhere.
4) Any interesting birds around.

We hope to see a good selection of these but would particularly appreciate
locations for the asterisked species:

Rufous Owl *
Barking Owl
Eastern Grass Owl *
Large-tailed Nightjar
Varied Lorikeet
Northern Rosella *
Rainbow Pitta
Chestnut Rail
White-browed Crake
Bush-hen *
Oriental Cuckoo *
Zitting Cisticola *
Green-backed Gerygone
Banded Honeyeater
Silver-crowned Friarbird
Yellow-rumped Mannikin *
Pictorella Mannikin *

Cheers
