Enid Pascoe and I just got back from having a look and taking some pics of
the Square-tailed Kites nesting with two orangey brown chicks near Humbug
Scrub north east of Adelaide. Thanks to Bob Sothman and Trish for some
excellent directions.

When we arrived there was one parent at the nest with one chick showing
well. After a short wait the other parent arrived with food and fed the
other chick which we couldn't see properly. This parent then flew off to
nearby tree and both chicks and the first parent all showed well at the
nest. Enid got some good shots, including some of the parent parked off in
a separate tree. Time was about 5.30 p.m.

Tony
