Hi allWe have had 3 almost albino Laughing Kookaburras near Shellharbour, NSW, 2 in 2008/09 and 1 in 2009/10. The first 2 have pinkish bills and feet, almost pink eyes and a few black feathers but the bills were a bit askew. They were kicked out by the parents but are occasionally seen nearby. The last one is similar and is helping the parent raise this years brood.I have heaps of photos of them as the parents must both have the recessive gene with at least half of the brood being of normal colour.
