Hi all
We have had 3 almost albino Laughing Kookaburras near Shellharbour, NSW, 2 in 2008/09 and 1 in 2009/10. The first 2 have pinkish bills and feet, almost pink eyes and a few black feathers but the bills were a bit askew. They were kicked out by the parents but are occasionally seen nearby.
The last one is similar and is helping the parent raise this years brood.
I have heaps of photos of them as the parents must both have the recessive gene with at least half of the brood being of normal colour.
