The prolonged wet in western Qld has resulted in a string of closure
notifications for parks around in the Longreach region. For example:

The alert details are: Title: Lochern National Park - ClosedLead: We wish to advise that Lochern National Park is closed until 31 March 2011 with long term weather predictions of an extreme wet season.
