Hi birders, Lisa Harris of ASDP has informed me that she saw TWO Painted Snipe today just before dusk at the Alice Springs Sewage Ponds- one male bird, and one juvenile. The plot thickens... I'll be heading to the site again tomorrow around 4pm so if anyone out there wants to come along with me you are most welcome to meet me at the gate. If anyone goes there in the morning I'd appreciate it if you could send me a text on 0447358045 and let me know how you got on.
