Varied and Mangrove Honeyeaters

Hi everyone,

I was looking into Varied and Mangrove Honeyeaters and I was wondering if 
anyone can help with the taxonomic situation with these two. I saw that they 
have been split and lumped a few times, but does anyone know the criteria used 
for the latest split and where it was published?
