23rd (calm and sunny; a few showers in the afternoon):
Highlights:
A leucistic Providence Petrel with white belly (photos will be posted soon):
The initial call was “Kermadec Petrel!”, but jizz and bill shape didn't fit and
white primary bases and shafts on upperwing were missing (although some of the
pictures taken show some light reflection from the primary shafts at some
angles, this was nowhere near the pattern of a Kermadec Petrel); also Herald
Petrel's jizz, bill shape and underwing pattern didn't fit).
Also of interest were a couple of late 1st winter-plumaged White-fronted Terns
and good numbers of (Siberian) Common Terns.

24th (rain and rough seas):
Highlight: Salvin's Albatross

Cheers,

Nikolas
