Yep looks like Pacific Golden Plover to me. They should also be in the Hawkesbury swamps/turf farms around now too. Edwin From: Ákos Lumnitzer Sent: Thursday, October 21, 2010 8:56 PM To: Subject: Which plover is this? Hi birders I suspect this is a Pacific Golden Plover in moult? I am not really a wader afficionado to be honest so any help with regard to identification would be welcome. We observed this bird at Penrith Lakes this afternoon. http://amatteroflight.com/gallery2/d/4486-1/Golden-Plover-20101021_8921.jpg Kind regards Akos ============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org ============================= |
