For Melbourne readers, this event looks like a beautiful, meditative - and birdy - experience. Genevieve Lacey is a world-renowned recorder virtuoso, who turns your expectations of dreary school recorder concerts on their head. Her playing is, quite simply, sublime. It accompanies footage of flocks of birds in a 30-minute installation presented as part of the Melbourne International Arts Festival. http://www.melbourne.vic.gov.au/ArtsHouse/Program/Pages/EnMasse.aspx ============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org ============================= |
