G'day bird observers

Dan Williams (per Mick Roderick) had a good look at a lone White- throated Needletail in the Hunter Valley last week. This means it is time to start looking once again for these magnificent aerial insectivores. I have finished my paper documenting the decline for this species and hope it will be published before too long. I am going to continue monitoring its numbers so would welcome all sightings direct to me please or published where I can find them.

Many thanks & wishing you a good swift watching season

Mike
